Comments: I was referred to Dr. Hennigan by an associate of his, Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Klumb, due the severity of the injuries to my shoulder from an accident that I was involved in. The injury to my shoulder was extreme, and labeled as an "irreparable rotator cuff tear". The surgery that Dr. Hennigan recommended and performed, is called a "superior capsular reconstruction (SCR)". Basically, he "re-created" my rotator cuff using a graft, because my tissue was not able to be salvaged and used for repair. In my case, this procedure avoided me from having to have shoulder replacement surgery performed. This is a relatively new procedure and there are very few surgeons qualified to perform this surgery.
From the very first visit with Dr. Hennigan and his staff,until the last visit, I was completely comfortable, at ease, and fully understood all that was being done to repair my shoulder. Another thing in regards to Dr. Hennigan and his Administrative staff, all the stress and anxiety that is typically associated with dealing with my insurance company was directly handled by himself personally and his team, they took care of everything!
I very truly couldn't be happier with the outcome of my surgery. I have healed beyond the highest of any expectations that I ever had. I have 100% full use, mobility, and strength of my shoulder again!
If I ever need another surgery that Dr. Hennigan can perform, he will be the Dr. for me, I would highly recommend him if you would be in need of any of his services!
